Fall Time!!

Chase and I love taking Micah to the park when ever we get the chance! We mostly take him on the swings, and some times on the small slides. Micah loves all of it!! You can tell by the look he has on his face, and when he shrieks with excitement! (The small slide!)
Every so often Chase becomes a little too excited and takes Micah down the BIG slides himself!! Sometimes I think he finds more enjoyment out of it than Micah! I'm so glad Chase has so much enthusiasm about playing with Micah, because I know it's one reason why that makes him a good Dad.
(This BIG slide!)It seems like fall just began just a short while ago, and now it is slipping away as the weather gets colder and wetter. These are probably one of the last times we will be able to take Micah to the park this year. I imagine the next time Micah goes to the park again will be next year, during the spring time. Micah will enjoy himself a lot more because, I suspect, he will be walking! He is well on his way to mastering this great milestone. He already started pulling himself up on furniture, and sometimes I catch him trying to stand on his own.
He looks so proud of himself!MICAH MAN!

Kissy Kissy

Just recently Micah learned how to give "kisses!"
Take a look...

video

At night when we're all in bed Micah will climb all over me and Chase and give us "kisses." At times he will even blow on our cheeks, silly boy! We have so much fun having Micah in our lives!

Crawling Already!

Just a few days after Micah turned seven months old, he finally figured out how to move those legs and crawl!! But even before that he figured out how to pull himself up on the crib, he's so tricky!!
We'll start from the beginning. First came the sitting up at around five months. Then came the butt scooting a month later.
Then he started pulling himself up on things. Micah is just full of surprises! We are amazed at what he can do!
THEN came the crawling! He started by moving around in a small area, then the whole entire room, and then OUT of the room... He's just busy, busy, busy! This is a picture of him the day after he started crawling.
video
This is a few days after he first learned to crawl The only thing I could interest him in at the time was the camera! Micah would gladly play with any type of electronic that Chase and I have including our cell phones, remotes, the camera, and camcorder-over his toys.

Hope you enjoyed!!

Cascade Springs

I LOVE going up the canyon when it's fall time and the leaves are turning colors! Yesterday we went up to Cascade Falls up American Fork Canyon, it was a beautiful drive! The car ride from our home to Cascade Falls took a little over an hour, and the scenery was amazing!
We didn't realize it would take so long to get there, Micah was getting pretty restless in the car. He was glad to be out of his car seat when we finally arrived!
Such a cutie!
Chase didn't realize this when we first started to walk on the trail, but when he was a kid he visited the springs with his family and always wanted to go back since. Chase was pleased when he found out this was the place!
The Springs
Micah was acting like he wanted to take a dip in the spring water, so Chase leaned him in closer for a better look.
We're pretty good at taking pictures of ourselves! Chase shot this one on his first try!
I love the fall time!
The drive home took only half an hour. "How?" you ask? Well, we didn't realize this when we were looking up a place to go online, but you can actually get to the springs by going through Provo Canyon. From there you take the road that leads to Sundance, follow that road till you get to a fork and take a right...We felt pretty stupid for taking the EXTRA long way there, but didn't regret it because we enjoyed the scenery along the way.

Utah State Fair

This past Saturday we all went to the State Fair, and we loved it! Sadly, this was the first time ever going to the fair. We mainly walked around and looked at the booth's and art exhibits. We would have been able to participate in more activities but it's kinda hard to when you're pushing a baby around in the stroller.
Micah Loved the fair! He loved just simply sitting in his stroller and looking around at everything!
Chase and Micah chillin' on the bench.
Just look at how happy he is! After Micah had his meal Chase and I found a food stand that was selling chilli-cheese fries, piled high with greasy fries, chilli, and loads of cheese. Mmm... It was so huge that it filled us both up!
Afterward we found the game booths, and Chase challenged himself to a couple games of darts. He won two toys for Micah, he attacked the frog out of happiness and excitement after chase handed it to him! I love to see my baby happy!
Shortly after Micah fell asleep. So we decided to call it a day and we headed home.

THE END
